Conjuring 2 - Film Review
Conjuring 2 is a horror film, with the theme of inescapability, made 2017 which is based off of a true event that happened in the 70s, it contains a lot of the typical camera shots and use of music that is used a lot in recent horror films. There is a shot at the beginning of the film when a medium enters another parallel field, that features a mirror, and on one side is the woman, and on the other a man holding a shot gun. the use of the mirror creates a split between the characters and suggests different dimensions. It could also represent the characters feeling unsure about proceeding with the seance, as well as foreshadow her link with danger and evilness. The use of the shotgun in the mans hand creates fear among the audience and slowly builds up tension and allows the viewer to wonder if its going to be used. The scene also includes eerie music playing in the back ground to further make the viewer feel uneasy, as well as whispering voices to suggest there's a paranormal...
